US President Barack Obama expressed the public view that Greece should receive debt relief, during his visit to Germany. Obama is on his last world tour as US President, as his term ends at the end of the year. Austria Re-introduces Checks on Border with Hungary
Austria has re-introduced checks on its border with Hungary to curb the flow of irregular migrants, AP reported on Monday.
Austrian police have said that the number of attempts to smuggle illegal migrants into the country has increased since the Western Balkan migration route was closed to migrants earlier this year.
A final work by Zaha Hadid opens in Italy
One of the final works of Zaha Hadid, the acclaimed Iraqi-British architect who died suddenly last month, was posthumously inaugurated in Italy on April 25.
Inspired by an oyster, the new maritime terminal at the southern port of Salerno features a hard shell above a soft, fluid interior and the wavy lines that were Hadid's signature.

Obama sending more forces to Syria to consolidate gains against ISIL
President Barack Obama announced on April 25 the biggest expansion of U.S. ground troops in Syria since the civil war there began, saying he would dispatch an extra 250 special forces soldiers to build on successes against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos called for solidarity within the ranks of the EU on the refugee crisis in an exclusive interview to Italian newspaper ‘Il Messagero’. Serbia Goes to Polls in Series of Elections
Voters in Serbia on Sunday choose new national and provincial parliaments as well as the largest number of local asemblies.
In the parliamentary elections, 20 political lists with a total of 3,270 candidates will be competing for 250 seats.
Some 15 election lists are taking part in the race for 120 seats in the assembly of the autonomous northern province of Vojvodina.
