The suspect who spread terror in London on Wednesday, is reportedly a 40-year-old with Asian characteristics. The man was critically injured when police shot at him after he had stabbed an officer outside the British Parliament, while he is also believed to be responsible for the attack on Westminster Bridge with a vehicle that resulted in two victims. Th suspect was transported to hospital.
UK to formally trigger Brexit on March 29
Britain said March 20 that it will trigger its exit from the European Union on March 29, nine months after the country voted to leave the European Union.
Triggering Article 50 of the EU's Lisbon Treaty, the formal procedure for leaving the bloc, will open a two-year timetable for difficult negotiations, meaning Britain could be out of the EU by 2019.

Queen authorizes British PM to begin Brexit
Queen Elizabeth II gave royal assent on March 16 to a bill empowering British Prime Minister Theresa May to trigger Article 50 of the EU's Lisbon Treaty and begin the process of leaving the European Union.

UK Supreme Court rules parliament must vote on Brexit procedure
The UK Supreme Court has ruled that the British parliament must vote on whether the procedures for Brexit can start, Tueasday. The judgement means Theresa May cannot begin talks with the EU until MPs and peers give their backing – although this is expected to happen in time for the government’s 31 March deadline.

Prime Minister Theresa May finally gave in to the parliament’s pressure to debate her plan on Brexit. However, she asked the lawmakers for more time to negotiate.
This decision resulted in a rise of the sterling calming down investors, who were unsure of her move.

UK to start EU exit process before end of March, says PM May
British Prime Minister Theresa May said Oct. 2 that Britain would start the formal process for leaving the European Union by the end of March 2017.
Before now May has only said that Britain would not trigger Article 50 of the EU's Lisbon Treaty - which sets a maximum two-year clock ticking until a country's departure from the 28-member bloc - before the end of this year.
