Bulgarian Equipment Started Work on Mars
The Lyulin-MO apparatus has started work successfully from the orbit of Mars, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) announced. The device is the product of development of the Space Research Institute and aims to measure the radiation to which the crew will be subjected to a future human mission to the Red Planet.

The Road Infrastructure Agency has Warned of Snow and Strong Winds from Sunday
Snowfall and strong winds are expected next week. Colder weather will begin on Sunday. The forecast of the meteorologists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is for a significant decrease of the temperatures from the strong northeast wind, which increases the prerequisites for ice.

An automatic translator from and into Bulgarian in 24 languages is now available on the Bulgarian Presidency website. The new tool can translate texts, documents and entire websites. The new software was presented by Minister Lilyana Pavlova and Professor Svetla Koeva, Director of the Bulgarian Language Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

A 2.1 earthquake on the Richter scale was registered on the territory of Bulgaria, near Plovdiv, BGNES reported.
The earthquake occurred at 8:16 am this morning with an epicenter in the city of Plovdiv, with a depth of 20 km, the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences said. There is no evidence of material damage
An Earthquake of Magnitude 2.2 near Smolyan
An earthquake measuring 2.2 Richter is registered this night near the villages of Kesten and Zrebevo. This is reported from the site of the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography (NIGGG) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The quake is registered at 01.15 hrs tonight and is 15 km deep.

NIMH: Temperatures Today will be Between 7 and 12 Degrees
The maximum temperatures will be between 7 and 12 degrees today, according to the NIMH forecast at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, FOCUS reported. There will be few clouds. In Sofia the temperature will reach 9 degrees. In the mountains there will be torn clouds, diminishing to sunny. A moderate wind from the northwest will blow.
