Today We are Celebrating the International Volunteer Day

On December 5th, we celebrate the International Volunteer Day, reported the Bulgarian National Television.

For the first time, the day was celebrated in 1985 on the initiative of the UN when the world organization urged all parties to express their respect and gratitude to the volunteers, giving more visibility to their work.

Bulgarian Red Cross will Mark 140 Years Since it was Established

Celebrations dedicated to 140 years since the establishment of the Bulgarian Red Cross will take place on 25th of October, the press office of the Red Cross said on 24th of October. The jubilee is under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, reports BNT. 

Excellent Weather Conditions for Mountain Tourism in Bulgaria

Sofia. There are excellent conditions for mountain tourism, the weather is quiet, clear and calm, the Mountain Rescue Service to the Bulgarian Red Cross told Focus News Agency. There is light to moderate wind on top of the mountains. Morning temperatures range from below 10°C on the highest summits to 14-15°C at the huts.

Bulgarian Mountain Rescue Services Teams have Found Two Missing Women

Sofia. MRS teams have found two women lost in the area between Bezbog and Gotse Delchev chalets. This was reported by FOCUS News Agency by the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) to the Bulgarian Red Cross. The search for them began late Saturday night and continued at night.
