BELGRADE -- The FoNet news agency has announced that its editor Davor Pašalić was assaulted and brutally beaten by hooligans.
The agency said that Pašalić was attacked by three men in the night between Wednesday and Thursday near his apartment in New Belgrade.

CSAT: Romania to contribute nearly 200 troops, 50 police, gendarme officers to Afghanistan mission
Romania's Supreme Council for National Defence (CSAT) has decided that, depending on the NATO's final decision, Romania will contribute some 200 troops and 50 police and gendarme officers to the training, counselling and assistance mission in Afghanistan.
Smuggling Attempt of Great Quantity of Antiques Prevented in Bulgaria
An attempt to smuggle 70 kilograms of antiques has been prevented through a joint operation of the State Agency for National Security, the Interior Ministry and the Customs agency.

Nikola Tesla Airport director arrested
BELGRADE -Nikola Tesla Airport Director Velimir Radosavljevic has been arrested on suspicion of abuse of office on Wednesday, Tanjug learns at the Interior Ministry (MUP).
Radosavljevic is suspected of concluding a detrimental business deal with the Wizz Air company, thus causing a loss to the Belgrade-based airport Nikola Tesla.
