Patients aggresive to medics should be put on a special "blacklist" and not be visited by doctors in their home, and if specialists really have to go to be escorted by the police. This idea was launched by the President of the Bulgarian Medical Association Ventzislav Grozev. He explained to Nova TV that the list would also inform emergency doctors about having a problem patient.

A European Union-funded migrant health center has opened in the Turkish capital Ankara, the bloc's Turkey delegation announced on Sept. 20. 

In a statement, the delegation said the EU-funded center "opened today to provide health services to refugees in the Altındağ district, where the refugee population density is the highest in Ankara," state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

70% of the emergency calls in Bulgaria are not urgent or are fake, reported bTV. 

Losses for these calls reach up to BGN 16 million only for this year. There is no information about sanctioned people.

From September 8 to September, a mobile team will conduct free screening for tuberculosis among risky groups on the territory of Russe, reported BGNES.

"The Ministry of Healthcare is initiating an inter-ministerial task force to develop and propose measures to curb the use of hookahs and vegetable products for smoking," he said. The first meeting of the working group will be on August 30th.
