Vojvodina Assembly to consider change of Constitution
NOVI SAD - Branislav Bogaroski, deputy president of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, stated on Monday that the draft declaration on the change of Constitution does not offer ready-made solutions, but rather states the facts the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia has to change and that the current Constitution lacks functionality.

NOVI SAD -- Bojan Pajtić, who heads the provincial government of Vojvodina, has said that he is "not considering stepping down from the position."

NOVI SAD - Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic has said that he is not considering stepping down from the position.
Pajtic, who is also the Democratic Party (DS) leader, told the Radio Television of Vojvodina on Tuesday that the Vojvodina government has not collapsed and that it is functioning with more capacity and more efficiently than the national government.
NDS official at ASPEN conference in Berlin
BERLIN - Konstantin Samofalov, spokesperson of the New Democratic Party (NDS), which has seats in the Serbian parliament, has taken part in a conference organised by the ASPEN institute in Berlin, where the topics were the rule of law in the Western Balkans and the EU enlargement policy.

BELGRADE -- The Serbian national assembly on Wednesday elected Željko Sertić as the country's new minister of economy.
Sertić was elected with 178 votes in favor and four against, and then took the oath of office before members of parliament.

BELGRADE - The parliament of Serbia elected Zeljko Sertic as the new minister of economy.
Sertic was elected in a roll-call vote by 178 votes in favor and four votes against, and then took the oath of office before members of the parliament.

DS: Idea of all-party government - unfeasible
NOVI SAD - The Democratic Party (DS), the leading party in the ruling coalition in Vojvodina, has ruled out the initiative by leader of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Istvan Pastor for setting up an all-party government in Vojvodina.
Miroslav Vasin, chairman of the DS provincial committee for Vojvodina, is adamant that this idea is not feasible.

Debate on laws necessary for public notary work

NDS registered, direct party election in October
BELGRADE - The New Democratic Party (NDS) has been officially registered as a political organization, and direct party elections will be held by mid October, NDS leader Boris Tadic told Tanjug on Friday.
He noted that this will be the first time for a party in Serbia to have its leadership elected directly by the party members.
