"Belgrade-Pristina talks next week; 'no' to Dodik sanctions"

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday spoke with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the phone, and met with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg in Davos.

B92's Filip Cukanovic said these conversations regarded the situation in Kosovo and relations in the region, as well as "ways to solve the problems that have piled up."

NATO watching situation between Belgrade, Pristina

BRUSSELS/PRAGUE - NATO said on Monday it was watching closely the situation between Belgrade and Pristina, and urged all parties to exercise restraint and continue the dialogue, Radio Free Europe reported.

The statement was released from the NATO headquarters as a comment on the latest developments in the relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

NATO: Pristina doesn't need our permission to deploy police

NATO headquarters sources said on Wednesday that the Brussels Agreement from 2013, which Serbia is invoking, "does not include the police forces of Kosovo."

According to Beta agency, they also stated that "Kosovo authorities do not have to seek approval from KFOR (NATO troops in Kosovo) to send their police throughout Kosovo."
