Kosovo Massacre Village Honours OSCE Chief With Statue
The statue of former OSCE mission chief William Walker will be installed in January in the village of Recak/Racak in central Kosovo, where 45 ethnic Albanian civilians, including elderly people and children, were massacred by Serbian forces.
American regret, Russian advance

US military formally ends anti-ISIL operation in Libya's Sirte
The U.S. military has officially ended operations in a former Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) bastion in Libya, officials announced Dec. 20.
The Pentagon had launched Operation Odyssey Lightning to help local forces push the jihadists from the coastal city of Sirte on Aug. 1.
World condemns assassination of Russian ambassador Karlov
Condolences have poured in for Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov who was assassinated by a police officer at an art exhibition in Ankara on Dec. 19.
British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson and the country's envoy to Ankara, Richard Moore, took to Twitter to denounce the killing, saying that their "thoughts are with his family."
U.S., EU, and NATO "essence of Kosovo foreign policy"
Special relations with the U.S: and close cooperation with EU and NATO and Kosovo’s "neighboring countries" represent "the essence of Kosovo's foreign policy."
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said this on Monday in Pristina at the the Conference of Ambassadors.
Macedonian Leaders' Wild Language Worries EU
The European Commission expressed "concern" on Monday over the "tensions and the negative rhetoric" present in Macedonia in the past few days.
Spokesperson Maja Kocijancic called on the country's political players to "act responsibly" so that people's faith in Macedonia's institutions and in the democratic processes is restored.

World condemns bomb attack in Turkey's Kayseri
World leaders and other members of the international community have expressed their condolences and condemnation following the Dec. 17 car bomb attack in the Central Anatolian province of Kayseri which killed 14 soldiers and wounded 56 others.
The United States condemned the "cowardly attack," showing solidarity with the country against terror.

Turkey's war with ghosts, aliens and UFOs
On Nov. 24, 2015, two Turkish F-16 fighter jets won the title of shooting down, from NATO's side, the first ever Soviet-Russian military warplane since the end of World War II, saying it violated Turkish airspace along the country's border with Syria. The Russian pilot of the fighter jet was killed.

NATO Considers Russia as Main Threat in the Balkans
