Turkish PM calls for 'courage against terror'

Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu visited the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r on April 1, just a day after seven police officers were killed and at least 27 people were wounded in a bomb attack blamed on militants of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). 

Davuto?lu declared that he was "not scared" and vowed "no steps back" in the fight against terror.

VICE News journalist and fixer Mohammed Rasool, who was arrested in southeastern Turkey 131 days ago, was finally released from jail on Jan. 5.

Lawyer Muhammed Ne?et Girasun had demanded Rasool's release, citing a lack of evidence for alleged links to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the longevity of his arrest.
