Volleyball woman jailed in Iran declares hunger strike
A British-Iranian woman jailed in Iran after trying to watch a volleyball match is on a hunger strike, refusing food or liquids, her brother told AFP on Nov. 3.
Ghoncheh Ghavami, a 25-year-old law graduate from London, is protesting because the judge has yet to confirm her one-year prison sentence, making it official, her brother said.

PARIS - World number one Novak Djokovic defended his title at the Paris Masters tennis tournament after beating Milos Raonic of Canada 6-2, 6-3 on Sunday.
Djokovic continued with good performances at the end of the season, winning the 47th trophy of his career, sixth this season, and third career win at the Paris Masters.
Tsochatzopoulos appeal postponed until November 14

Two arrested in probe into killing of three Turkish soldiers
Two of three suspects detained over the killing of three off-duty soldiers in the eastern province of Hakkari have been arrested.
