BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received a farewell visit from UAE Ambassador to Belgrade Mubarak Said Al Dhaheri on Wednesday.

In a cordial atmosphere, Dacic noted Al Dhaheri's exceptional contribution to development of overall bilateral relations, based on friendship and a strategic partnership, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Serbia Juma Rashed Saif Zayed Al Dhaheri discussed cooperation between the two countries on Thursday.

"Belgrade Waterfront construction to start in September"

The construction of the first buildings of the Belgrade Waterfront project is expected to start in September, Tomislav Nikolic and Juma Rashed Al Dhaheri have said.

The Serbian president and the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates met on Wednesday in Belgrade.

"Serbia wants renewal of old friendships"

BELGRADE -- President Tomislav Nikolic has said that he wants Serbia’s foreign policy "to go back to old friendships after two decades of neglect of these relationships."

He made the remarks during a meeting in Belgrade with with ambassadors of African and Arab countries.
