New KFOR commander takes over
PRISTINA - Italian General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo assumed at a ceremony in Pristina on Wednesday the post of KFOR commander in Kosovo.
His predecessor, General Salvatore Farina, turned over the commanding duties to Figliuolo.
The ceremony was held at the KFOR base in Film City, Pristina, and Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga thanked Farina for his work at the head of KFOR.

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated on Tuesday that the publication of the report of the special investigative team headed by U.S. prosecutor Clint Williamson will confirm the objectivity of EU institutions and the international community in the investigation of crimes committed during the war in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).
Kosovo Opposition Fails to Create United Front
Opposition leaders from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Nisma and the Vetevendosje Movement failed on Monday to reach a deal aimed at stopping outgoing Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, from forming the next government.

Clashes in Kosovo's Mitrovica Leave 20 Injured
A standoff between ethnic Albanian protesters and police officers erupted on Sunday in Kosovo's divided town of Mitrovica.
At least twenty people were hurt as the police was trying to disperse the hundreds-strong crowd attacking a renewed Serbian blockade at a bridge across the Ibar river, Macedonian daily Kurir reports, citing Kosovo police spokesman Avni Zahiti.
