The House of Commons of the British Parliament approved the bill for the country's exit from the European Union. 358 MPs voted in favour of the law involving the EU-agreed deal on the terms of the divorce. 234 voted against.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's top priority is to deliver Brexit on January 31st and then negotiate a free trade agreement with the European Union and other leading global economies, Queen Elizabeth said on Thursday outlining plans for a new UK government, reports BNR.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Wednesday that the UK's exit schedule from the European Union was "extremely challenging", Reuters reported.

President Klaus Iohannis had a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday, focusing on relations between the two countries as well as the UK withdrawal from the European Union, according to the Presidential Administration.

During the talks in Biarritz between the G-7 countries, Donald Trump met with Boris Johnson and said he was the right person for Brexit, AFP reported.

Asked what advice he can give for Brexit, the US president said the British prime minister "needs no advice, he is the right person for the job."

Romanian President Klaus Johanias said at the Florence conference "The State of the Union" that democracy is not in danger in the European Union but is under pressure, and those who believe in Europe must have more courage because the EU faces different problems such as Brexit, immigration and unemployment.''

Prime Minister Boyko Borisov held a telephone conversation with British counterpart Teresa May, the government's press service announced.

Panasonic plans to move its European headquarters from Britain to the Netherlands later this year over concerns about potential tax issues related to Brexit, a company spokeswoman said Thursday.

"We will move our European headquarters to the Netherlands," the spokeswoman told AFP, confirming a report in the Nikkei business daily about the Japanese electronics giant's decision.
