Cape Verdean descent Portuguese musician Lura will meet her fans tomorrow at Istanbul's Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall, promising the audience to present the best songs of her career.

World-famous Spanish guitar virtuoso and composer Cañizares will meet with his Turkish fans on stage tonight at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall.

Hailed as one of the hottest flamenco shows in the world right now, "Carmen" by Antonio Gades and Carlos Saura is being brought to computer screens by the Christmas Theater on February 5-8. The flamenco version of the dramatic story is based on the world-famous late 19th century opera of the same title by George Bizet and on the original inspiration, the novella by Prosper Mérimée.

The third edition of Master of Arts Film Festival, dedicated to the world's biggest names in world art and culture, has 77 titles from around the world. Ten productions are Bulgarian. The films will be shown from April 30th in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, the organizers announced.

After its sold-out show on September 2, the Antonio Gades Company is returning to Athens's Herod Atticus Theater on Tuesday, October 10, for another performance of its critically acclaimed flamenco version of "Carmen," first presented in Paris in 1983.

BELGRADE - Revered Spanish director Carlos Saura will receive a Golden Seal award at the Yugoslav Film Archive on Saturday for an outstanding contribution to the world cinema.

Saura will be presented with the award after the screening of the movie "J, de Saura".

Flamenco choreographer and dancer María Pagés will perform at Istanbul's CRR Concert Hall on Dec. 13.
