Serbian Tabloid Criticised for Airing Criminal's Claims
Serbia's pro-government weekly newspaper Ekspres has published an interview with Sreten Jocic, a.k.a. Joca Amsterdam, a convicted criminal, in which he accused Aleksandar Rodic, publisher of the rival daily tabloid Kurir, of working to bring down President Aleksandar Vucic.
Zagreb mayor praises cooperation with Belgrade
BELGRADE - Mayor of Zagreb Milan Bandic said Thursday that there is a more positive feel in the relations between Serbia and Croatia, and particularly between the two capitals.
He added that he has not encountered any problems in the cooperation with Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali, nor with Dragan Djilas while he was the mayor of the Serbian capital.

Belgrade Slammed for Not Rehousing Evicted Roma
Rights group Amnesty International said in a new report published on Wednesday that three years after the forced eviction of more than 200 Roma families from the Belville settlement in Belgrade, the city authorities have failed to use 3.6 million euro in European Commission funds to adequately rehouse them.

BELGRADE - The heads of the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS) and the Basketbal Federation of Republika Srpska (KSRS) signed an agreement on cooperation in Belgrade Friday.
Jesic relieved of duties in Vojvodina provincial government
NOVI SAD - The Assembly of Vojvodina on Wednesday relieved Goran Jesic of his duties as the province's deputy prime minister and secretary for agriculture, water resource management and forestry.
Jesic is a deputy leader of the Democratic Party (DS) who has joined the Vojvodina government at the invitation of Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic.
Bojan Pajtic elected new Democratic Party leader
BELGRADE - Bojan Pajtic has been elected the new president of the Democratic Party (DS), replacing its former leader Dragan Djilas, his sole rival.
A total of 1,461 delegates backed Pajtic at the party's electoral assembly meeting on Saturday, while 1,277 voted for Djilas.
