Tennis-Djokovic makes his way into fourth round in Melbourne

MELBOURNE - World number one Novak Djokovic is through to the fourth round of the 2015 Australian Open, after beating Spain's Fernando Verdasco 7-6 (10-8), 6-3, 6-4 in the third round on Saturday.

Djokovic safely overcame a nervous start to set up a fourth round clash with Luxembourg's Gilles Muller, who upset John Isner of the United States in straight sets.

Troicki loses to Berdych

MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Viktor Troicki ended his run at the Australian Open in Melbourne, after losing to Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in a third-round match 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 on Friday morning (CET).

Bulgaria's Dimitrov Beats Verdasco in First China Open Match

Tennis player Grigor Dimitrov managed to secure a hard victory against Spain's Fernando Verdasco in his first encounter at China Open in Beijing.

Dimitrov won the match that lasted 1 h 36 min and ended 6:1, 3:6, 6:3.

After an easy first set for Dimitrov, Verdasco posed a tough challenge to the Bulgarian, who lost the second one.

Grigor Dimitrov Eyes ATP Finals in London This Season

Making it into the ATP World Tour finals in London will be Grigor Dimitrov's main goal until the end of the season, Bulgaria's top tennis player delcared on Sunday.

Dimitrov described the past months as "the best season" in his career while speaking at his first press conference before the China Open tournament in Chinese capital Beijing.

Troicki beaten by Verdasco in Gstaad quarterfinal

GASTAAD - Serbian tennis player Viktor Troicki failed to qualify for the Gstaad ATP semifinal as he was beaten in the quarterfinal match by Spain's Fernando Verdasco, 6-4, 6-7 (7-9), 6-1.

Troicki fiercely opposed the Spanish player as the match's expected winner, currently ranked 38th on the ATP list, and nearly managed to beat him.

Troicki reaches Gstaad quarterfinals

GSTAAD - Serbia's Viktor Troicki is through to the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Gstaad after defeating Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan 6-3, 6-4 in their second-round match on Thursday.

Next up for Troicki is a first-time clash with either Spaniard Fernando Verdasco or German Jan-Lennard Struff for a spot in the semifinals.

The Swiss Open prize fund totals EUR 485,760.

Zimonjic and Nestor go through to doubles semifinals

ROME - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Canada's Daniel Nestor beat David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco of Spain 4-6 6-3 10-7 in Rome on Thursday and qualified for the semifinals of the Italian Open.

Their next opponents will be the winners of the match between Bob and Mike Bryan of the US on one side and Tommy Haas from Germany and Rade Stepanek from the Czech Republic on the other.
