Turkish and Greek relations have recently experienced a "positive turn" following the deadly Feb. 6 earthquakes and fatal train crash, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias has stated.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has sent a letter to his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, expressing his best wishes for the March 25 national day.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias was welcomed to Belgrade by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Wednesday with Greek FM Nikos Dendias, who is visiting Serbia.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias is expected in Serbia Wednesday for talks.

In a statement, the ministry said Dendias will be received by Serbia President Aleksandar Vucic at approximately 2 p.m.

Türkiye and Greece decided to mutually support the candidacies of the two countries in international organizations, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on March 20.

Çavuşoğlu met with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias in Brussels on the sidelines of the International Donors Conference.

Talks between the foreign affairs ministries of Greece and Turkey were held over approximately twenty days and in absolute secrecy, before the two respective ministers' announcements came from Brussels on Monday, noted Greek diplomatic sources.

Following a meeting between Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu in Brussels, the two men announced that Ankara will vote for Greece's candidacy in the elections for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council, while Athens will support Turkey for general-secretary of the International Maritime Organization.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said he will meet with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu in Brussels Monday on the sidelines of a conference hosted by the EU aimed at ramping up funds from international donors to help the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria.

The meeting will take place at 2 p.m. Greek time, Dendias said.
