Dendias meets new Argentina ambassador
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met with Argentina's new ambassador to Athens, Luis Alfredo Azpiazu, at the Foreign Ministry on Monday and wished him a successful mission.
Monday's talks focused on further promoting bilateral relations, the ministry tweeted.

Greece seeks stronger relations with Israel
With Greek-Israeli relations deepening in recent years, Athens wishes to continue on this course.
To this end Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will travel to Jerusalem on Monday for talks with his counterpart Eli Cohen, who took office three weeks ago.
Although not yet finalized, it is possible that Dendias will also be received by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Dendias: Membership in UN Security Council in 2025-26 achievable
Greece has already secured the written commitment of 113 states to vote in favor of its candidacy for election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2025-26, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias has said.

Greece has a growing and active interest in Africa and would like to enhance its relations with South Africa, which is one of the most significant countries on the continent, according to visiting Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias.

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is set to visit South Africa and Mozambique on 24 and 25 January, respectively. During his stay in the above countries, Dendias is expected to have a series of bilateral meetings with top officials.

Dendias in Brussels for EU foreign ministers meeting
Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is expected in Brussels Monday for an EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting chaired by the bloc's top diplomat Josep Borrell.
Ministers will discuss Russia's war on Ukraine, the Sahel and coastal countries of West Africa, and more.
After the meeting, Dendias is scheduled to travel fo South Africa and Mozambique. [AMNA]

The three-day tour of West Africa completed by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Friday was deemed to have been crowned a success as countries such as Ivory Coast, Gabon and Ghana share a common understanding with Greece of what the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) stipulates.

Dendias visits Greek school in Ghana
The Greek government has promised a donation to a school in Ghana for the construction of a basketball court.
The donation, which was not disclosed, was announced by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias during a visit to the St Nicholas' Greek School in Tema, on the Atlantic coast.
The school relies solely on private donations and volunteers.
