Greek and Turkish officials are trying to finalize the details of the visit by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Ankara on May 13, when he will meet with the president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Türkiye halts all trade with Israel over military actions in Gaza
Türkiye has stopped all trade activity with Israel over violence against Palestinians in Gaza, the Trade Ministry said on May 2.
"Exports and imports to and from Israel have been suspended," the trade ministry said in a statement, adding: "Türkiye will apply these new measures... until the Israeli government authorizes an uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza."
Turkey halts trade with Israel
Turkey has suspended all exports and imports with Israel as of Tursday, according to two Turkish officials briefed on the matter, as reported by Bloomberg. Official statements from Turkey are pending.
