IOC appoints 10 new members, Greece back in the fold
Greece, host of the first modern games in 1896, regained International Olympic Committee representation after four years on Wednesday when the head of its Olympic body Spyros Capralos was elected as one of 10 new members to the global organization.

Jelaca declared best female athlete in Balkans
BELGRADE - Serbian female athlete Tatjana Jelaca was declared the best female athlete in the Balkans.
Jelaca won silver in javelin throw at the 2014 European Athletics Championships in Zurich and thus beat the national record.
At the ceremony in Bucharest, Jelaca received the award from the Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federation Sebastian Coe.

Serbian, French ministers on cooperation in area of sport
DOHA - Serbian Minister of Youth and Sport Vanja Udovicic and his French counterpart Patrick Kanner conferred in Doha on Monday on intensification of the two countries' cooperation in the area of sport.
