Serbia, Kosovo Mark Progress in Relations After Signing Four Key Agreements
At a meeting of the EU-facilitated high level dialogue on the normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina on Tuesday, Serbia and Kosovo marked a progress in their relations after signing four key agreements.
Four agreements signed during Kosovo talks round
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced late on Tuesday in Brussels that agreements reached there are "good for the Serb people in Kosovo."
Speaking after another round of EU-sponsored Belgrade-Pristina negotiations, he "singled out as the most important the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO)" which he said will have "broad powers."

Brussels: Agreement reached on telecommunications
Agreement has been reached during the negotiations of the Belgrade and Pristina delegations in Brussels for Serbia to have its own telecoms company in Kosovo.
Member of the Serb delegation General Dragan Vladisvljevic said that an agreement had been reached and that Serbia will have its own telecommunications company in Kosmet (Kosovo and Metohija).

Judo: Romanian Andreea Chitu through to semifinals of 52 kg category at Astana World Championships
Romanian Andreea Chitu qualified on Tuesday in the semifinals of the women's 52 kg category at the World Judo Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Chitu will fight Turkmenistan's Gulbadam Babamuratova for a place in the final; the other semifinal will see Japanese judoka Misato Nakamura take on Brazil's Erika Miranda.

The two sides, headed by prime ministers Aleksandar Vucic and Isa Mustafa, are due to meet on Tuesday to finalize key deals on energy, telecommunications and the Association of Serbian Municipalities, the EU said.
