Kosovo Opposition Flock to Sign Petition Against Serbian Deals
A petition against the recent EU-led agreement with Serbia has attracted more than 63,000 signatures during only five days, the organisers said on Wednesday.
The petition was launched on September 18 and the organisers claim the number of the people signing it is increasing every day.

Varoufakis: Troika and Greek oligarchy ‘in bed’
Former Greek Finance Minister Yianis Varoufakis said debt relief under the current agreement Greece signed with its EU creditors is ‘a lost cause’, in an interview to site ‘Politico.eu’. The erratic Marxist accuses the Greek oligarchs of being in ‘cahoots’ with the ‘Troika’ (European Commission, European Central Bank and the IMF). He believes Greece will resemble Kosovo in the next 5 years.

Jailed Kosovo Guerrilla in Alleged Escape Attempt
Former Kosovo Liberation Army commander Sami Lushtaku, convicted of war crimes, was sent to a high-security prison after he allegedly tried to escape, according to media reports.

Kosovo town mayor, convicted of war crimes, in custody again
Srbica Mayor Sami Lushtaku, who has been convicted of war crimes committed against civilians in Kosovo, has been arrested after leaving a hospital.
Lushtaku is a former member of the now disbanded ethnic Albanian KLA and its "Drenica Group" and was in the hospital temporarily for treatment. He was previously sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Kosovo Opposition MPs Hurl Eggs at PM
Opposition MPs hurled eggs towards Kosovo's Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, while he was addressing parliament on the latest agreement reached between Pristina and Belgrade on August 25.
MPs from the nationalist Self-determination movement erupted during the Prime Minister's speech when he said that the recent agreement complied with Kosovo's constitution.
