Three police officers killed in PKK bomb attack in Turkey's Diyarbakır
Three police officers were killed on Jan. 16 in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) bomb attack targeting an armored police vehicle in the Sur district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, the Diyarbakır Governor's Office has announced.
2,085 militants "neutralized" since launch of Turkey's Operation Euphrates Shield: Turkish military
The total number of the "neutralized" militants in northern Syria since the ongoing Turkey-led Operation Euphrates Shield was launched last Aug., is at least 2,085, according to the latest data of the Turkish military.
1,775 of these neutralized are ISIL militants, the weekly statement of the Turkish general staff said.

Two soldiers killed in PKK operation in Turkey's southeast
Two soldiers were killed on Jan. 6 during an operation against outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants in the southeastern province of Şırnak, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
Four other soldiers were also wounded during the operation conducted against the militants at the Gabar mountain, the agency said.

Two children injured in explosion of hand-made bomb in Turkey's southeast
Two children were wounded due to the explosion of a hand-made and pipe-type bomb in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on Dec. 4, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
The explosion occurred after a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old played with an object they found on the street in the İskenderpaşa neighborhood of Diyarbakır's central Sur district.
19 PKK militants 'neutralized' in operations in four provinces
Nineteen outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants were "neutralized" in aerial and land operations carried out by the Turkish military in the provinces of Tunceli, Şırnak, Diyarbakır and Mardin, as the army prepared to "inflict a major blow" against the group this winter, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu has said.
