Gas storage capacity to hit 11 bln cubic meters by 2023
Turkey's natural gas storage capacity will be increased from 4.7 billion cubic meters to 11 billion cubic meters by 2023, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez told parliament members on Dec. 7.

Around 80 tons of bootleg wine seized at vinegar factory
Security forces have seized a total of 77 tons of bootleg wine at a vinegar factory in the Şarköy district of the northwestern province of Tekirdağ.
Teams from the local police force's Organized Crime and Smuggling Department figured that barrels with bootleg wine were being handled at a plant.
Perinthos finds to shed light on ancient cuisine
Ceramics, spoon pieces, cooking utensils and animal bones, which are believed to be 5,000 years old, have been unearthed during the excavations carried out in the ancient city of Perinthos in the northwestern province of Tekirdağ's Marmaraereğlisi district.

Two vessels collide in Turkey's Marmara Sea
Two vessels reportedly collided in Turkey's Sea of Marmara on Oct. 24.
The Benitamou, a Panamanian-flagged vessel 299 meters (981 feet) long, collided with the Vanessa, a Barbados-flagged ship 172 meters (564 feet) long, off the Sarkoy district of the northwestern Tekirdağ province for an undetermined reason.
