According to Sergey Naryshkin, the West is doing this in order to open a second front because the war in Ukraine "is not developing in favor of Kyiv".
"We see constant attempts by Washington, Brussels and London to convince the Georgian leadership of the need to open a so-called second front," Naryshkin said during his visit to Belarus, according to CNN.

The Belarusian leader and close ally of the Kremlin, Alexander Lukashenko, called for a "ceasefire" in Ukraine and for negotiations "without preconditions" between Moscow and Kyiv, AFP reported.

We should not support the trend of escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, but look for ways to solve the problem peacefully, said Alexander Lukashenko, commenting on the intentions of Western countries to supply Ukraine with ammunition with depleted uranium, Belta agency writes.
Lukashenko: Ukraine offered Belarus a Non-Aggression Pact
Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said that Ukraine has offered Minsk a non-aggression pact, reported the BeLTa state news agency reported, as quoted by Reuters.
Lukashenko shared the alleged proposal at a meeting of government and law enforcement officials, where he also accused the West of arming militants in Ukraine who could potentially destabilize the situation in Belarus.
A major attack from Belarus coming?
It said senior Kremlin officials continue to hold high-level meetings with the Belarusian leadership.
By doing so, they could create the conditions for a major Russian attack on Ukraine from Belarus, but that, they add, is unlikely to happen in the coming weeks.
