The biggest Greek wine exhibition “Oenorama 2017”, which was established in 1994, is a point of reference for wine enthusiasts in Greece. This year the world famous event will take place from March 11th to 13th at the Zappeion Exhibition Hall in Athens.

An excise tax on wine introduced a year ago has resulted in a burgeoning illegal market rather than revenues, which the government had anticipated at 65 million euros per annum in the budget it presented to foreign creditors.

The sixth edition of the wine forum DiVino.Taste - 2016 will take place between November 18 - 20 at the National Palace of Culture (NDK), announced the organiser of the event Emil Koralov.

Bulgaria will host in parallel the 40th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the 15th General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) next year, the country's Agriculture Ministry has announced.

A free map of wine routes in the Bulgarian region of Melnik is seeking to encourage the development of wine tourism in the area.

The map was produced under the initiative of wine producers from the region and is available in both Bulgarian and English, Darik radio informs.

For the eighth consecutive year the Wineries of Crete invite oenophiles from every corner of the world to the annual wine exhibition "Oinokritika" which will be held at Chania on March 21 and 22, 2015.

We are at the Changa restaurant in the Sabancı Museum. These days, the museum is hosting an exhibition of Miro, one of the world’s most renowned painters. The interest is high. Nazan Ölçer, the director of the museum, said that the exhibition will remain open for two more months and they expect the number of visitors to reach 130,000.
