GCS: 277 persons infected with novel coronavirus
A number of 277 persons have tested positive for with the novel coronavirus so far, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Thursday. Of them, 25 were declared cured and discharged, 16 in Timisoara, 8 in Bucharest, one in Iasi.

Bulgarian Foreign Ministry: Don't Travel to Italy or China Unless Necessary
In relation to the situation with the new coronavirus COVID-19 in the north of Italy, Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Bulgarian citizens who reside or travel to Italy, to travel only as a matter of last resort to the regions with confirmed cases of coronavirus, MoFA said on February 23, quoted by BNT.
Death toll in China coronavirus outbreak rises to 1,381
The death toll in China from the coronavirus outbreak has risen to 1,381, the country's National Health Commission said on Feb. 14.
Authorities said 63,851 confirmed cases have been reported, while in the last 24 hours, 121 people have died and more than 5,090 new cases have been detected.
China counts 2,700 cases of new virus, 80 deaths
The death toll from a new virus has risen to 80 with more than 2,700 confirmed cases, China's government said on Jan. 27, after the health minister warned that the virus's ability to "spread is getting stronger."
China also on Jan. 27 extended the Lunar New Year holiday by 3 days to next Sunday in an effort to contain the spread of the virus.
