Paying tribute to French music, the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra and conductor Byron Fidetzis will be performing at the Athens Concert Hall (megaron.gr), with Theodore Tzovanakis on piano.

Pianist Chara Iacovidou performs a recital titled "Resonances" at the Athens Concert Hall on Monday, March 5. Marking the centenary of the death of Claude Debussy, the acclaimed Paris-based Greek pianist presents a tribute to French music that proves the existence of a hidden common thread running through the work of three top composers: Debussy, Dutilleux and Ravel.

The Athens Symphony Youth Orchestra (ASON) will be performing works by distinguished French composers including Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and Gabriel Faure this Saturday evening at the Benaki Museum in central Athens. Admission costs 10 euros and the concert starts at 9 p.m.

Mezzo-soprano Amalia Avloniti and baritone Kostis Mavrogenis perform works by 19th and 20th French composers at the Greek National Opera's Olympia Theater Foyer on Sunday, January 8. The evening's program includes songs penned by Erik Satie and Maurice Ravel, among others. The singers will be accompanied by pianist Dimitris Vezyroglou. The recital starts at 6 p.m.
