Greece condemns North Korea missile launch

Greece has condemned North Korea's launch of a powerful new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) and urged Pyongyang to "desist taking any fresh action that could endanger peace and stability in the region."

"The act is a violation of international law and undermines international security and stability," the Foreign Ministry in Athens said in a statement.

Warships from eight NATO countries participated in live-fire self-defense exercises of ship and missile systems near Scotland on Sunday the U.S. Department of Defense said, quoted by Reuters.

Ships from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States defended against a medium-range missile as well as three anti-ship cruise missiles.

“They are preparing for a new test of a longer-range missile. They even gave us mathematical calculations that they believe prove that their missile can hit the western coast of the United States,” Morozov said.

Trump has Again Criticized the Nuclear Agreement with Iran

US President Donald Trump once again expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the nuclear agreement with Iran, criticizing Tehran for a missile test, and accusing them of cooperating with North Korea, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.

"Iran has just tested a ballistic missile capable of reaching Israel. Not much of an agreement we have", wrote the American president on Twitter.

Woman injured by ricochet bullet in western Athens

Six arrests have been made in connection with a shooting that sent a woman to the hospital after a bullet ricocheted and struck her in the abdomen.

The shooting happened shortly before midnight outside a barber's shop in Korydallos, western Athens. The 29-year-old woman was hit and injured by a ricochet bullet while she was sitting at a nearby cafe.

Lethal bullets designed to “drop” jihadis on the spot will be issued in the next few weeks.
