Bulgaria Increases State Debt by USD 3.4 B, Sets Deficit at 2.7%
The Bulgarian government should seek a new loan adding BGN 3.4 B to mitigate the impact of developments at the Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB), the government says.
Its latest move was agreed Monday during political consultations at Bulgaria's Presidency aimed at looking into options to manage the crisis.

The IT market in Bulgaria continues to grow, shows a survey of Computerworld magazine on the Top 100 ICT companies in the country.
In 2013 the turnover of the largest companies in the sector surpassed BGN 1.57 B and grew by 21%, compared to 2012.

Last year Bulgarian MPs have traveled over 1.7 million km in their official vehicles which is approximately 44 times the length of the Earth's Equator.
Coalition for Bulgaria's MP Plamen Slavov has traveled more than 50,000 km, Bulgarian private TV station BTV reports quoting data released by the Parliament. Plamen Zhelyazkov from the same party has spent over 48,600 km on the road.

Donations for Flood Victims in Bulgaria Approach BGN 2 M
The two major donation drives for flood victims in Bulgaria have gathered a total of BGN 1 816 466 as of Wednesday.
The Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) campaign for SMS, online and bank transfer donations has gathered BGN 877 947, as of July 2. Around 800 000 BGN were donated through bank transfers and online payment systems, according to the BRC chairperson Hristo Grigorov.
