PM visits Bosnia, calls for "trust and cooperation"

SARAJEVO -- Aleksandar Vučić said he was in Sarajevo as a friend and a representative of a country that respects the territorial integrity of Bosnia and of the RS.

The Serbian prime minister said on Tuesday that his was a country "that wants to build trust and incomparably better relations."

SARAJEVO - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday that he is visiting Sarajevo as a friend, a representative of a country that respects the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Republika Srpska - and a country that wants to build trust and incomparably better relations.

Bosnia Given Deadline on Money Laundering Law

Moneyval, the Council of Europe's Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism, has given Bosnia an extended deadline until June to adopt a law on money laundering.

Samir Omerhodzic, member of the Bosnian delegation, said the country could be blacklisted unless the law was adopted by then.

Sarajevo Withdraws Award For Zagreb Mayor

The City Council of Sarajevo has withdrawn its decision, made in February, to make Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic an honorary citizen of the Bosnian capital owing to his recent statements backing a third, Croatian entity for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Deputy Sarajevo Mayor Aljosa Campara said he hoped the decision would not harm relations between Sarajevo and Zagreb.

Petition launched for revising trial of Young Bosnia members

ANDRICGRAD - The Department of History of the Andric Institute in Andricgrad has launched a petition for a revision of the trial of members of the Young Bosnia movement, including Gavrilo Princip, who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne, in Sarajevo on June 28 1914.
