Lajcak discusses Western Balkans with Escobar, Chollet
NEW YORK - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and other Western Balkan issues Miroslav Lajcak said on Tuesday he and US special Western Balkans envoy Gabriel Escobar and State Department Counsellor Derek Chollet shared the same reading of the situation in the region and were on the same line on the way forward.

Chollet thanks Vucic for constructive engagement in Ohrid
WASHINGTON - US State Department Counsellor Derek Chollet has thanked Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic for his constructive engagement in a March 18 round of high-level dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
Brnabic meets with Chollet
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with US State Department Counsellor Derek Chollet in Belgrade on Thursday.
Brnabic thanked the US for its open and constructive approach to open issues in the region and, in particular, for its constructive role in maintaining peace in the region, the Serbian government said in a statement released after the meeting.

Srpska lista representatives meet with Chollet, Escobar and Hovenier
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Srpska lista representatives met on Wednesday with US State Department Counsellor Derek Chollet, US special Western Balkans envoy Gabriel Escobar and US Ambassador to Pristina Jeffrey Hovenier.
In a Facebook post, Strpce Mayor Dalibor Jevtic said the representatives had discussed the current political and security situation with the US delegation.
Vucic expects Chollet to visit Belgrade in first half of January
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday evening he expected US Department of State Counsellor Derek Chollet to visit Belgrade on January 11 or 12, and noted that he believed in the creation of a better relationship with the US.
US State Department: No announcements about Escobar visit to Serbia
WASHINGTON - The US State Department on Wednesday said it had no announcement to make at this time about a possible visit to Serbia by special Western Balkan envoy Gabriel Escobar after Orthodox Christmas.
The State Department was responding to a Tanjug query whether Escobar would travel to Belgrade next week.
Blinken's Special Envoy is coming to Bulgaria to discuss Security
Derek Chollet, a senior US State Department official, will visit Sofia led by a US delegation from several federal agencies. This is part of a tour of Bulgaria, Romania and Belgium between February 7th and 11th, a foreign ministry spokesman said in Washington.
