Brelfie: The new trend which provokes social media

A new trend in social media is called “brelfies”. It calls young mothers to take selfies while they breastfeed.

 

This new trend comes as a reaction to the social media ban on a mother who uploaded a picture while she was breastfeeding. The mother was accused of breaking social media rules on naked content.

 

Apple patent lets iPhone be part of VR reality display

Apple on Feb. 17 was awarded a patent on a headset that could let iPhones be part of augmented or virtual reality displays.
      
The patent titled "Head Mounted Display Apparatus For Retaining A Portable Electronic Device With Display" depicts a large eyeglass-style frame into which a smartphone could be seated.
      

Shut up and see a doctor, pro-gov't columnist advises sexually harassed woman

A pro-government pundit in Turkey has drawn the ire of social media users by advising sexually harassed women to ?shut up and see a doctor.?

Sevda Türküsev, a columnist for daily Yeni ?afak, participated in the social media campaign #sendeanlat (you tell your story too) on Feb. 16 with a controversial tweet.

Bosch Buys German Software Co with Sofia-based R&D Center

Bosch Software Innovations, a wholly owned subsidiary of German technology giant Bosch, plans to acquire Cologne-based ProSyst Software AG, which has a research and development unit in Sofia.

Agreements to this effect were signed on February 13, 2015, according to a media statement of Bosch.

ProSyst employs some 110 associates in Cologne, Germany, and Sofia, Bulgaria.

Apple becomes first company worth over $700 billion

Apple became the first company to reach a market value of $700 billion Feb. 10 as shares vaulted amid upbeat news on the US tech giant's gains in the smartphone market and soon-to-arrive smartwatch.
      
Shares rose 1.9 percent to close at $122.02, lifting Apple's market value to $710 billion, and making it the first company to hit the $700 billion milestone.
