B92 Fund recognized for humanitarian work

VRANJE -- The City Assembly of Vranje has presented its Charter of Gratitude to the B92 Fund for outstanding contribution in building and equipping a local safe house.

It concerns the first specialized safe house for the victims of domestic violence in the P?inj District, covering municipalities of Vranje, Vladicin Han, Surdulica, Bosilegrad, Trgoviste, Bujanovac and Presevo.

B92 Fund Board of Directors President Veran Matic was in Vranje on Friday, where he met with Mayor Zoran Antic.

At a reception attended by the city's top officials, Antic presented Matic with the accolade, along with a set of selected works of author Borislav Stankovic, expressing at the same time his deep conviction that the cooperation with the fund will be even more successful in the future.

"On behalf of the B92 Fund, I thank you for this valued award. Our mission is to help the most vulnerable, and among them, of course, are the victims of domestic violence," Matic said during the ceremony.
