COVID-19 vaccination in Bulgaria

The coronavirus pandemic in Bulgaria could end when the level of 40,000 vaccinations per day is reached, mathematician Prof. Nikolay Vitanov has said. Ljubljana – The Covid pass mandate introduced last week has led to a surge in vaccination. Almost 84,000 shots were administered last week, the highest weekly figure since early June, show data from the national vaccination registry.

Vaccination rates are relatively high in those three countries, but confidence in the government is also high. The hope is that freedoms will lead to even higher vaccination level.

437 are the new cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria. 6% of the tests performed over 7000 are positive, according to the data of the Unified Information Portal.

373 people remain for treatment in intensive care units, and 53 have lost the battle with the disease.

More than 400 have recovered. Nearly 2,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been given.
