President Erdoğan rebuffs 'pressure' by social media companies

Turkey will not bow down to "pressure" by social media companies that see themselves above the laws on individual rights, the country's president asserted on Jan. 14.

Sweeping cyberattacks targeting governments and other organizations in Europe and the Middle East are believed to be the work of hackers acting in the interests of the Turkish government, three senior Western security officials said.

The TAD GROUP Owner Is Currently Searched for in the Schengen Area

The TAD GROUP owner Ivan Todorov is being searched for in the Schengen area, NOVA TV reported. Ivan Todorov is accused of instigating the of personal data leak from the NRA which affected millions of Bulgarians.

He said he could not say for sure whether the incident was the result of an attack on the part of the competition.

Redhack members acquitted in terror case

An Ankara criminal court ruled on March 15 for the acquittal of ten Redhack members charged with supporting left-separatist terror organizations.

Prosecutor ?aban Yavuz demanded an acquittal on the grounds the defendants were not proven guilty as charged in a summary judgment heard on March 15. The Interior Ministry was also a complainant in the case.
