Bulgaria has a low proportion of reports of domestic violence and women should be encouraged to report such cases, United Nations Special Rapporteur on violence against women Dubravka Šimonovic said at a press conference, BNR reported.

The number of Turkish provinces to introduce an electronic bracelet system for men convicted of domestic violence against their spouses has increased from six to 15.

Money will be used to finance three priority targets to prevent domestic violence against both women and men.
