Based on interviews with Kosovo women entrepreneurs, the five key challenges faced during the pandemic included a fall in customer purchases, the need to remodel the business, the threat to existence, and decreased business size.

Ljubljana – The investment agency Spirit has announced that over 12,000 companies had been launched through its SPOT support programme for entrepreneurs since 2018, while more than 1,400 startups were incubated by its SIO programme between 2019 and 2021.

Turkish startups attracted investments totaling about $1.5 billion last year, according to a report released by Startup Centrum on Jan. 19. 

The total volume of investments in Turkish startups increased by ninefold in 2021 compared to the previous year, said Startup Centrum, a digital community that gets startups, talents, investors and incubators together.
