Greece Asked to Declare State of Emergency over Migrant Backlog
The Governor of a region in northern Greece is demanding that state of emergency be declared in the area around the Idomeni border crossing.
At least 13 000 people are stranded on the border between Macedonia and Greece, as Macedonian authorities are applying restrictions to the flow of migrants for several weeks, local and international media quoted him as saying.

Analysis of data released by the EU statistics body Eurostat shows that in four years, from the start of 2010 to the end of 2013, 58,713 Macedonian citizens obtained permission to stay in or become citizens of EU countries.

3 Serbian citizens held for murder in Macedonia
Three citizens of Serbia have been arrested in Macedonia in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old Macedonian citizen on Ohrid.
Among them is a man from Kraljevo who is suspected of committing the murder.
