Taekwondo: Bodganovic wins bronze in Egypt
BELGRADE - Member of the Serbian taekwondo Tijana Bogdanovic won the bronze medal at the Luxor Open as the G2 category tournament in Egypt.
In the category of competitors weighing up to 49 kilograms, Bogdanovic lost the semifinal duel to triple European champion Lucija Zaninovic from Croatia, 10-8, after she previously defeated representatives of Russia, Turkey and Brazil.

Arsovic wins silver in 50m rifle 3 positions event
KUWAIT CITY - Serbia's Andrea Arsovic won silver in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions (3x20) event at the 41th International Shooting Grand Prix in Kuwait on Wednesday.
After wining gold in the 10m air rifle event yesterday, Arsovic ended up second in today's event with 458.6 points in the final.

Arsovic and Mikec Serbia's best shooters in 2014
BELGRADE - The first Serbian athlete who secured her place at the Rio 2016 Olympics, Andrea Arsovic, and member of the national shooting team Damir Mikec are Serbia's best shooters in 2014, according to the Serbian Shooting Sport Federation.

Baku, Azerbaijan, prepares for the first European Games
The capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, will host the first European Games in history, between June 12-28, 2015, reports the correspondent of the AzerTAg, Iqbal Haciyev.
Over 6,000 athletes will compete for 239 medals. Furthermore, on the occasion of the Games, Azerbaijan will host 3,000 official representatives of the teams competing.
Vlade Divac re-elected to ANOC Executive Board
BAKU - President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia (OKS) Vlade Divac was re-elected on Sunday as member of the Executive Board of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), at the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in Baku.

Udovicic: Serbian athletes looking forward to European Games
BAKU - Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, met with members of the organizing committee of the First European Games, set to take place in Baku next year.
Chief Operating Officer of Baku 2015 Simon Clegg informed Udovicic about the progress of the preparations for the first continental games in the Olympic tradition.
