Bulgaria Receives BGN 60 M under Operational Program Environment 2014-2020
Bulgaria has received BGN 60 M in advance payment from the European Commission to launch operational program Environment 2014-2020, according to Environment Minister Ivelina Vasileva.
Vasileva made clear Tuesday that the investments under the operational program were of strategic importance for the country and that they would give a boost to businesses.

Pesticide residue in vegetables and the state
Twenty-five percent of the vegetables and fruits we eat contain pesticides ? in other words, chemical residue, at a level much higher than acceptable, Akdeniz University has said. In a study the university has been conducting for three years, it was found that the rate of contaminated vegetables and fruit were increasing every year.
