Bulgaria to Prepare Roadmap on Canadian Visa Liberalization
Bulgaria will draft a roadmap for the criteria it needs to fulfill to get visa liberalization for travels to Canada, the leaders of the two countries have agreed.
Meeding Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has said the text will be put forward for consideration "as soon as possible", the Bulgarian Presidency quotes Plevneliev as saying.

BRUSSELS - The European Commission (EC) on Wednesday proposed that the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament lift visa requirements for citizens of Kosovo for short stays in the Schengen area.
The Commission also presented a positive assessment "confirming that Kosovo has fulfilled the requirements of its visa liberalisation roadmap," an EC statement said.

The European Commission has proposed to the European Parliament and EU governments to scrap visa requirements for Turkish citizens provided that Turkey will fulfil the outstanding benchmarks of its Visa Liberalisation Roadmap.
