Hahn notes significance of progress in Belgrade-Pristina dialogue

BRUSSELS - Meeting with Kosovo FM Enver Hodzaj at the European Commission (EC) headquarters in Brussels on Monday, European Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn noted the significance of progress in the process of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

EC spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic confirmed to Tanjug Hahn and Hodzaj had discussed regional cooperation and Kosovo's European integration path.

The commissioner noted progress in the EU-facilitated dialogue and the reform path would bring benefits to Kosovo's citizens and that, as such, they were the best and quickest way of EU approximation, Kocijancic said in a statement submitted to Tanjug.

Following separate meetings with EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini and Hahn, Hodzaj also met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow at the alliance's Brussels headquarters.
