Moderate quake shakes Attica

A moderate earthquake shook Greece's Attica region on Thursday, but there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The Euro-Mediterranean Institute said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 3.4 and occurred at 4.31 p.m.
Its epicenter was near Magoula, about 25km northwest of Athens.

Strong quake, measuring 5.1 Richter, hits the Greek capital

A strong earthquake hit the Greek capital shortly before 2.30 p.m. on Friday.

The tremor had a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Institute.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or any major damage though some power cuts were reported in central Athens. 

More than 700 Injured in the Powerful Earthquake in Iran

The number of people injured in a 6.4-magnitude earthquake that struck western Iran near the border with Iraq has risen to more than 700, state media report, quotes Radio Free Europe. 

No fatalities were reported yet from the November 25 quake, which occurred in the same area where a quake a year earlier killed more than 600 and injured more than 9,000 others.

Two killed, more than 20 Injured in an Earthquake in Indonesia

Two people were killed and more than 20 were injured after an earthquake in the Indonesian province of Central Java, the BNR reported quoting TASS.

Although the earthquake has a magnitude of 4.4, there are hundreds of destroyed houses, schools and mosques.

More than 2,000 people were forced to evacuate in special centers.
