Multiple Greek airspace violations recorded on Wednesday
Turkish fighter jets violated Greek airspace in the eastern Aegean three times on Wednesday, according to the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA).
A pair of Turkish F-16s entered Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting a flight plan and flew at 25,000 feet over the islets of Panagia and Oinousses at 3.29 p.m.

Turkish F-16 fighter jets flew over the Anthropofagoi and Strongyli islets in the eastern Aegean on Wednesday, the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) said.

First upgraded F-16 completes successful test run
Greece completed successfully on Sunday the first test run of an upgraded F-16 jet of the Hellenic Airforce, the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (EAV) announced on the same day.
The US-made warplane was upgraded to F-16 Viper level as part of a deal between Lockheed Martin and EAV to improve the capabilities of Greece's aging fleet.

Turkish fighter jets fly over eastern Aegean islets
Turkish fighter jets carried out a fresh round of overflights in the eastern Aegean on Wednesday.
In particular, at 10.10 a.m. a formation of four F-16 aircraft flew over the islet of Athropofagoi at an altitude of 10,000 feet.
The Turkish aircraft were intercepted by Greek jets in line with international rules of engagement.

A pair of Turkish F-16 fighter jets on Monday entered Athens' Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting a flight plan and flew over the islets of Oinousses and Panagia in the eastern Aegean, the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) said.
The jets entered Greek airspace shortly after 7 p.m. and flew over Oinousses and Panagia at 24,000 feet.

Turkish F-16s violate Greek airspace
Four Turkish fighter jets flew over the Aegean island of Agathonisi without authorization on Friday morning.
The first pair was spotted at 25,000 feet and the second at 16,000 feet at the same time, shortly after 10 a.m., the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) said.

Turkish overflights return after 26 days
Turkish jets violated Greek airspace on Wednesday for the first time after 26 days, with several F-16 fighter jets entering Athens' Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting a flight plan, according to the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA).
Between 3 and 4 p.m., pairs of jets flew three times over Oinouses, four times over Panagia and one northeast of Chios.

Turkish fighter jets fly over Aegean islets
Turkish fighter jets carried out a fresh round of overflights in the eastern Aegean on Wednesday.
In particular, at 1.59 p.m a pair of F-16s flew over the islet of Agathonissi at an altitude of 14,500 feet.
At 2.02 p.m., the same pair flew over the islet of Anthropofagoi at 14,000 feet.

No delays in F-16 upgrade, Greek Air Force says
Greece's Air Force has denied recent media reports of snags and delays in the upgrade of its F-16 fighter jet fleet.
In a statement on Wednesday, it said that work to date is "in line with the scheduled time frame."
