Rescuers called after 60 hikers become trapped in Crete's Samaria Gorge
A rescue operation was underway in Crete on Wednesday morning after 60 hikers were trapped in the 16-kilometer long Samaria Gorge overnight.
The hikers were hampered in their efforts by heavy rain and had to spend the night at the Samaria settlement. All the hikers were reported to be safe and well.

More than 16,000 liters of bootleg liquor seized
The Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) has seized more than 16,000 liters of bootleg alcohol that was destined for manufacturing knockoff drinks to be sold at bars and nightclubs.
The illegal alcohol was found at a warehouse on the country road between Megara and Alepohori, west of Athens, on Saturday.

Halkidiki, the mirage in the Med… Join in the competition
Marketing Greece’s campaign for the Tourism Organization of Halkidiki, northern Greece, kicked off with the logo “Mirage in the Med”. The new campaign hopes to showcase the lush green beauty and azure seas of the region as something of an exotic getaway with out-of-the-world scenery.

Victoria’s Secret angels spent a week in Mykonos for the fashion show that took place at Nammos, Psarrou beach. Gorgeous women like Sara Sampaio, Bar Refaeli (Leonardo di Caprio’s ex) and many more beautiful women headed to the island of winds for Replay.
Around 400 people from across the world attended the event and partied until the earlier hours of the morning.
