Nursing staff reaches agreement with govt on pay rise

Ljubljana – Since hospitals are struggling with nursing staff shortages and trade unions have been warning that the situation has never been this bad, as many nurses quit their jobs, while those remaining are exhausted, an agreement has been reached about a pay rise for nurses. Media report the government has agreed to a 4-25% pay rise.

Pfizer has Announced a Promising Treatment with Pills against COVID-19

Tests of experimental antiviral treatment against COVID-19 by the American company "Pfizer" (Pfizer) in the form of a pill have proved so promising that they have been shortened. The reason is that it reduced by 89% the risk of hospitalization or death in adults at risk of developing a severe form of the disease.

Hospital Associations in Bulgaria Support the New Anti-Epidemic Measures

The Bulgarian Hospital Association (BHA), the National Association of Private Hospitals (NAPH) and the National Association of Regional Multidisciplinary Hospitals for Active Treatment (NARMGAT) support the new anti-epidemic measures introduced by an order of the Minister of Health of October 19, 2021.
