Juvenile fugitive picked up in Toumba
A 14-year-old boy who is accused, along with his 12-year-old sister, of robbing and murdering an 87-year-old man last week, was located on Monday in the region of Toumba in Thessaloniki after he went missing from the orphanage he was transferred to by police in the wake of the crime.

German authorities have broken up an international crime ring that duped elderly people into handing over their money and valuables to criminals posing as police officers, a German newspaper reported on Dec. 19.
Two juveniles in custody over fatal Thessaloniki robbery
Police in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, on Friday said that two juveniles who have been taken in custody are suspects in the death of a 87-year-old man during a robbery.
The 14-year-old boy and his 12-year-old sister were allegedly identified from CCTV footage and witness testimonies after breaking into the elderly man's house in downtown Thessaloniki on December 2.
Patra police arrest 15 playing cards at coffee shop
Police in the western port city of Patra arrested 15 people on Thursday morning for playing cards inside a coffee shop in violation of the ban on gatherings aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus.
The person running the coffee shop and another man who worked at the door were also arrested and fined 5,000 and 300 euros respectively.
