Chief Health Inspector Kunchev: High Mortality Rate from Covid-19 in Bulgaria Must Be Analysed
The situation with Covid-19 in the country is currently under control, but scientists are adamant that such viruses will come in the future, commented the chief state health inspector Angel Kunchev on BNT.
Kon's message to the citizens: You don't need to check antibody levels
Epidemiologist Dr Predrag Kon told RTS that vaccination is the only way out of the epidemic, but also that citizens should not be worried about checking antibodies, since that is only one of the indicators of immunity.
Increase in the Number of Hospitalized with COVID-19 in Bulgaria
There are 1,352 new cases of coronavirus per day. This means that 14.83 percent of the samples are positive, according to the data in the Unified Information Portal.
The number of people with coronavirus in intensive care units in Bulgaria has decreased for the last 24 hours from 812 to 801. However, the total number of hospitalized has increased per day from 10,271 to 10,365.
Over 3.500 newly infected, 17 people died
There are currently 4.182 patients hospitalized in Serbia, of which 169 are on respirators.
In the last 24 hours, 13.087 people were tested.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Serbia, a total of 482.397 cases of infection have been confirmed, and 4.542 patients have died.
The mortality rate is 0.94 percent.
